Since he was 11, Márton Tarkövi (1997, Hungary) has been making homemade films in Hungary. In 2020, he graduated in film editing from ECAM (Spain) and has worked mainly as an editor with Javier Rebollo, Callisto McNulty, Blur Films, Víctor Erice and Albert Serra, among others.
His debut feature film as director ‘Later in the Clearing’ co-produced by Luis Miñarro had its world premiere in 2025 at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) - Bright Future section, its American premiere at Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema (BAFICI) -Avant-Garde & Genre Official Competition, Spanish premiere at DocumentaMadrid - National Competition.
